Lutiše and surroundings:

The area was created by the Wallachian colonization , which took place from the 15th to the 18th century and belonged to the Strečian estate. There are many hiking and cycling trails in the vicinity. The location is also attractive for its abundance of mushrooms.

The surrounding meadows alternate between draws and dense vegetation, while the slopes of the meadows are characterized by their gradualness - it is a remnant of the original agriculture. The meadows are maintained and you can see the regular care of local residents. One of the options for easy hiking is the route from the Lutiška saddle, where we have several options to choose from. We can go to the Mravenčík hill from where there are views of Malá Fatra and Rozsutec and go down directly to Terchová, or take a look at the local settlements , some of which still retain their original architecture, along the forest roads. The cycle route around Mravenčík is also popular .
