Osada Fedorov - Behind the life of our ancestors:

Similar to Podšíp , the settlement of Fedorovo is an example of a seat of rural architecture, where farming was the predominant way of living. Access to the settlement goes directly from the village of Stankovany following the yellow sign , which also leads to the steep Šip hill . The road is not too steep, it can be managed even on a mountain bike with better suspension. However, it is not suitable for younger cyclists due to its demanding terrain. magic of lights and shadows will alternate with , where many medicinal plants such as St. John's wort and rape .

The yellow sign will lead us to a vast meadow called Žaškovské sedlo, where we will find a signpost. Here we can rest in a shelter , which can be helpful even in the event of a sudden worsening of the weather, and if we're lucky, we'll also come across grazing sheep here with their unique chimes . From this place, the route also leads to Šíp hill. Here, however, we will have to say goodbye to the yellow marker that guided us safely and go on a small adventure. There is no marked tourist route leading to the settlement of Fedorov, so we will take an inconspicuous path through the forest, where potholes from the tractor can make the road a little uncomfortable, but knowing that it is really close, we will easily overcome these obstacles. At the end, we have one decision to make. The path splits in two and we choose the one on the left, which descends sharply, and in about 5 minutes we can sit on the bench where our ancestors also sat by the ancient linden tree, whose dried flowers served well in autumn and winter as medicine for a cup of tea.

To return, we can choose a shorter but steeper route , which, however, suffers from poor-quality terrain and potholes from weighing wood, or we can return the way we came.
