Rojkov - "Bad Water":

It is a rare travertine formation with mineral water surrounded by Liptov nature. Mineral water is not the warmest. It is approximately from 14 to 20 degrees. However, it is medicinal and slightly bubbling thanks to the release of carbon dioxide. The official name of the lake is Teplica. The lake is also nicknamed "Bad Water". The water from the spring created a travertine crater over the years, which has remained active and is filled with water. The diameter of the circular pond is around 12 meters. Depth around 2 meters. Wooden steps lead to the water. Below the surface, on the bottom and sides of the crater, damaged wooden boards were replaced in 2023. Even during the visit, there was wooden paneling under the surface and around the walls to facilitate swimming in the pond. A large number of bubbles of escaping gas . The lake and its surroundings are used for swimming and recreational purposes in the summer. People feel tingling all over their body when bathing. CO2 is constantly released from the lake, calcium carbonate CaCo 3 is formed. The water has a beneficial and healing effect  on joints and skin diseases. In the travertine walls of the pond, if you look carefully, you can discover the imprints of the leaves of prehistoric trees .
